Meet the 2020 TSHOA

Board Nominees

Tom Street

I currently serve as chair of the Parks Committee - Lakeside and am committed to turning

that part of our neighborhood from an area of tremendous potential to a completed upgrade project. Over the course of two volunteer workdays, we've cleared more than an acre of overgrowth, dead trees, vines, flood debris and trash. Next phases include chipping/removal of the cut trees, pouring of a pad for a covered picnic area, and repaving the driveway. We will add signage and to keep boat trailers and general use cars separate and out of each other's way and keep the boat ramp clear. My background is commercial insurance, so two other areas where I can help is to review the current insurance policies held by the HOA and review for any coverage gaps or insufficient limits based on the exposures. Additionally, I would like to bring a standard subcontract agreement with insurance requirements to be used with any and all subcontractors working on behalf of the HOA to further protect members. Lastly, I would take an active role in reviewing the budget since we need to continue accurate forecasting and deploying reserves when appropriate.

I have been on the Board since 2018 and have recently also taken over as Chairman of the Architectural Control Committee. In working through some of the issues that have come up during my time on the Board, it has become apparent that our governing documents could do with an update. I have been working with the

Rules Committee on this on the Board to

help complete this task.

Tim Cardinal

I have lived and worked in South Lake Travis areas for the last 25 _ years. Currently, I am a commercial

Real Estate Lender, and Banking Center President for Prosperity Bank in Lakeway. I purchased my lot in Travis Settlement Estates in 2013, and built our home in 2014. I love our community, and look forward to raising out little girl here. I love the large acreage lots, the night sky, and the quiet of our community. I believe in fairness and following the rules, and would like to make sure Travis Settlement remains a wonderful place to live.
